Privacy Policy
Effective July 11, 2026
The short version
- Yarda is a work tool. We store the information you need to run your lawn-care business — your account, your customers, your jobs, invoices, payments, and photos.
- We never sell your data, show you ads, or track you across other apps and websites.
- You enter your own customers' details. You are responsible for having their permission to do that; we hold that information on your behalf.
- Some pages you share — like an invoice payment link — are visible to anyone who has the link, so only send them to the person who should see them.
- You can delete your account and all of its data from inside the app, any time.
Who we are
Yarda is a mobile app for solo operators and small crews in lawn and yard care. It is operated by ORLO WORKS LLC ("Yarda," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Yarda mobile app and the goyarda.com website.
If anything here conflicts with the Spanish version of this policy, the English version controls.
The two kinds of people in Yarda
It helps to separate two roles. You are the operator — the crew owner or team member who signs in and uses the app. Your customers are the homeowners and property owners you serve; they do not have Yarda accounts. You enter their information so you can schedule and bill their work. Most of the data in Yarda is information you provide about your own business and your own customers.
Information we collect, and why
Your account
When you sign up we collect your name, email address, and phone number, and a profile photo if you add one. We use this to create and secure your account, to identify you to your team, and to contact you about the service. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider (see Processors below).
Your business setup
We store the details you configure to run your business: your company name, tax rate, your services and their prices, your crews and team members, message templates, and the payment handles you choose to show customers (for example your Venmo, Zelle, or Cash App, or a payment link). We use these to operate the app's scheduling, invoicing, and payment features.
Your customers' information
To schedule and bill work, you enter information about your customers. This can include their names, phone numbers, email addresses, property addresses, geographic location (map coordinates) of those properties, gate codes and access notes, and any notes you add. You control what you enter.
You are responsible for having the right to provide this information and, where the law requires it, for telling your customers how their information is used and for honoring their requests about it. We process your customers' information on your behalf so that your business can function.
Jobs, invoices, and payments
We store your job records (schedules, status, route order, notes), invoices and line items (amounts, tax, due dates), and a payment ledger recording how much was paid, by what method (cash, check, card, bank transfer, Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, or other), and when. Yarda does not process card payments itself — it records payments you have already received and shows customers where to pay you. A customer can report "I paid" from a shared invoice page; that is only a message to you and never moves money by itself.
Photos
You can attach before, after, and property photos to jobs. We store these photos to show your work and support your invoicing. Photos are held in our hosting provider's object storage (see Processors).
Device permissions
The app asks for certain phone permissions only when a feature needs them. You can decline or revoke any of them in your device settings; the related feature simply won't work.
- Contacts — so you can add a customer from your phone's contacts instead of typing their details.
- Location — to show nearby properties and help order your route. We use it while you're using the app; we don't track your location in the background.
- Camera — to take before-and-after job photos.
- Photo library — to attach existing photos to a property or job.
Subscription and billing
If you subscribe, our payment processor handles the transaction and we store the identifiers it returns (such as a customer and subscription ID) and your subscription status, trial end date, and seat count. We do not store your full card number.
Waitlist
If you join the launch waitlist on our website, we store the email address and language you submit so we can tell you when the app is available.
How your data is stored: on your device and in the cloud
Yarda is built to work offline. Your business data is stored locally on your device so the app keeps working with no signal, and it syncs to our cloud when you're back in coverage. That means a copy of your customers, jobs, invoices, and photos lives both on your phone and on our servers. Removing the app from a device clears that device's local copy; deleting your account (below) clears the cloud copy.
Share links are public to anyone who has the link
Some features create a shareable web link so you can send a page to a customer:
- An invoice payment page, which shows the invoice details and the payment handles you've chosen to display.
- A job status page, which can show before-and-after photos of the work.
These pages are reachable by anyone who has the link — they are not password-protected. Only send a link to the person who should see it.
Who processes data for us
We use a small set of service providers to run Yarda. They process data only to provide their service to us:
- Clerk — sign-in and account authentication.
- Stripe — subscription billing (currently in test mode during launch).
- Cloudflare — hosting, database, and photo storage for the app and website.
- Resend — sending email.
- Google Maps — turning addresses into map locations and showing maps.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
- We do not show ads.
- We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
How long we keep data
We keep your data for as long as your account is active so the app works and your records stay available. When you delete your account, we delete your company's data as described below. We may keep limited records where the law requires it (for example basic billing records).
Deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, under More → Delete Account. This permanently erases your company's data — customers, properties, jobs, invoices, payments, and photos — and cancels any active subscription. If your company still has other active team members, you'll be asked to remove them (or transfer ownership) first, so you don't erase a team that's still working.
You can also email us at crew@goyarda.com to request deletion or ask a question about your data.
Children
Yarda is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. When we do, we'll revise the effective date at the top and, for material changes, make a reasonable effort to notify you.
